HOOKED! National 2027 has been featured in the June edition of Tackle Trade World, the UK tackle industry’s monthly trade title, which is sent to more than 18,500 industry professionals in over 120 countries. The coverage ran as the lead feature on the first page after the inside front cover.
The piece introduces HOOKED! National as the UK’s first all-discipline national angling event, bringing coarse, match, carp, predator, sea and fly fishing together under one roof at the Staffordshire County Showground on 18–19 September 2027. It sets out the show’s purpose as a national platform for the sport: one built to welcome newcomers and experienced anglers alike, while giving the tackle trade a single place to reach customers across every discipline in one weekend.
The article also highlights the show’s partnership with the Angling Trades Association (ATA), including a dedicated trade-only exhibitor lounge, and reports that trade enquiries are already coming in ahead of founding partner opportunities.
ATA Chairman Andrew Race told the magazine that the industry events calendar had stagnated, and that the ATA is firmly behind formats built around participation and investment in the sport:
