Leamington Angling Association

Leamington Angling Association is one of Warwickshire’s longest-established angling clubs, holding fishing rights across some of the best coarse waters in the Midlands. The association’s portfolio combines productive river fishing on the Warwickshire Avon with a strong line-up of stillwaters that suit pleasure anglers, match anglers, and specimen hunters alike.

Members have access to Jubilee Pools, Napton Reservoir, Ryton Pools, and Snitterfield Reservoir, plus extensive Avon fishing through Leamington and around Stratford-upon-Avon. The Avon stretches at the Lido, Recreation Ground, and Lucy’s Mill have hosted the well-known Garbolino Stratford Classic, drawing top match anglers from across the country. Stretches of the Grand Union Canal at Rowington and the College Pool round out a portfolio that holds carp, tench, bream, roach, barbel, and zander.

The club is run by an active committee of volunteers and supports family fishing initiatives at Stratford in partnership with the Angling Trust. Membership books are available from a network of tackle shops including Baileys of Warwick, Lanes of Coventry, Tussells, Rugby Tackle, Solihull Angling Centre, and Stratford Fishing and Outdoors, as well as direct from bailiffs at major waters.
