Seighford Lakes is a multi-lake day-ticket coarse and carp fishery set in the Staffordshire countryside just three miles from Stafford, in the village of Seighford. Now operating as Mal Leisure at Seighford Lakes, the family-run venue offers a genuine variety of fishing across 6 lakes on site, covering everything from accessible mixed coarse pools through to specimen carp waters and a syndicate.
The complex includes a tailor-made competition water alongside two pools suited to fly or trout fishing and two stocked for mixed coarse fishing. Highlights include Braybrooke, a beautiful tree-lined 1-acre lake with 11 pegs, mature margins, a central island, and a stock of around 100 carp averaging 12-15lb (lake record: 28lb); The Maze, the runs water at 3 acres with 45 pegs, heavily stocked with scraper-doubles and mid-twenty carp; and Swan, the specimen carp lake at around 3 acres with 11 pegs, where anglers chasing big fish target carp into the upper 30s. The MP Syndicate lake holds 40-50 carp to over 40lb for members willing to commit to a serious challenge.
Day tickets are sold from the on-site Lodge before fishing starts; 24-hour fishing is available on selected waters. The fishery has built a strong reputation for friendly staff and well-kept grounds, and is active on Facebook (@seighfordfisheries) and Instagram (@seighfordlakes).
